We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of complex machinery and equipment.
This role is perfect for a hands-on individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex technical problems.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in preventive maintenance, electrical systems, mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
1.
Performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to ensure optimal performance and safety.
2.
Inspecting machinery and equipment to identify any faults or malfunctions.
3.
Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to diagnose problems and determine the best solutions.
4.
Repairing or replacing defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassembling equipment.
5.
Performing routine checks and maintenance on safety systems to ensure they are in good working order.
6.
Calibrating equipment for optimal performance.
7.
Welding and fabricating equipment parts as required.
8.
Keeping detailed records of maintenance performed, parts used, and repairs made.
9.
Complying with all safety and health regulations.
10.
Staying current with the latest technologies and techniques in maintenance.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance technician role or similar.
2.
Proven experience in preventive maintenance, electrical systems, mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
3.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment faults.
4.
Experience with equipment calibration.
5.
Proficiency in welding and fabrication.
6.
Excellent understanding of safety and health regulations.
7.
Strong communication skills to explain complex technical issues in a clear and understandable manner.
8.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9.
High level of physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment.
10.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
