Job Title: Sales Representative ( Inside Sales Rep for a Global Territory)

Position
Summary:
The Sales Representative position supports the Temperature Control Business Unit within the Laboratory Equipment Division of Thermo Fisher Scientific. The Sales Representative will need to meet or exceed revenue targets by developing dealer/distributor sales channels and target key accounts in Latin America and Middle East.
Responsibilities include:
o Managing and Forecasting Sales Pipeline and overall Sales Process
o Reviews regional performance against expectations.
o Ensures that management is provided with realistic sales forecasts and is kept aware of any significant changes or developments.
o Regularly reviews forecast, pipeline and sales strategies with the sales channels.
o Ensures that opportunities and leads are pursued in a timely way.
o Supports channel sales in creating strategies for dealing with obstacles, customer objections or competitive situations.
o Identifies the cost of pursuing sales opportunities and manages appropriately.
o Develops his or her own revenue generation through creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls and rapport with existing channels and Thermo colleagues.
o Understands the generic strengths and vulnerabilities of major competitors and develops sales' strategies to respond effectively.
o Develops profile of sales channels required to maximize performance in region.
o Adhere to company and Government mandated compliance regulations.
Managing Relationships with Channel Partners
o Recruits and develops business relationship with channel partners.
o Stays current with partners' strategies, direction and operations.
o Supports marketing efforts of partners in existing and potential customers.
o Mobilizes the appropriate partners to pursue specific opportunities and leads.
o Ensures resolution or escalates issues that arise through pursuit of opportunities with partners.
Minimum Requirements/
Qualifications:
o Bachelors degree preferred in a technical/scientific field from an accredited higher learning institution.
o 3 years of prior experience selling capital equipment ($3,000 +) strongly preferred.
o Efficient and effective e-mail and telephone communication skills
o Demonstrated ability to develop and convert prospects to meet/exceed sale quotas
o Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management
o Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
o Ability to occasionally travel and attend sales events or exhibits (Up to 10%)
o Experience working with distributor/dealer channels outside of North America, Latin America and/or Middle East experience is a plus
o Experience with customer relationship management software, preferred
o Able to manage multiple priorities effectively
o Must exemplify the company values of Integrity, Innovation, Involvement and Intensity
o Spanish or Portuguese speaker as a second language is a plus

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
