Planet Fitness Headquarters in Newington, NH is looking to add a Business Systems Analyst (Information Systems) to our team!
The Information Systems Business Analyst is responsible for evaluating and solving business challenges by effectively implementing technology solutions. They act as a bridge between business teams and the IS/IT team defining, analyzing and documenting requirements then leveraging them to drive the technical design while managing a project's scope, acceptance, installation and deployment. They document the end result and offer training and general support.
Work with business areas to determine and document detailed business needs
Develop key project documents such as business case, executive summary, cost/benefit analysis, requirements, process/usage flow, specifications, solution matrices - using diagrams, flowcharts, word documents
Creates and validates project work plans to ensure accuracy, effectiveness, thoroughness, and consistency.
Serves as a subject matter expert and performs functions for urgent, high visibility, high profile, and strategic projects to ensure accuracy and completeness while meeting challenging deadlines.
Conducts root-cause analysis of requirements defects, identifies key and recurring problems, and provides solutions to prevent recurrence.
Develops and contributes to enterprise process standards to continuously improve quality, and to ensure consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Collaborate with IT on system, functional, and configuration design and then document it
Project manage including producing status reports, gathering/guiding/motivating teams, tracking work progress, and mitigating risks
Identifies, addresses, negotiates, records, reports, manages, and escalates action items, risks, issues and change requests associated to projects and to the team.
Participates in reviews of architecture, design, and quality assurance work products to identify conflicts and ensure consistent implementation of business and functional requirements.
Develops and delivers summarized findings of problems to management to recommend proposed actions
Perform functional and integration tests, develop testing scripts, and guide others in testing. Track issues and coordinating retesting
Manage vendor relationships and activities; share documented details of support or modification needs, supervise the delivery of the work in an effective and timely manner, coordinate with business areas to test and approve final delivery
Offer users and IT general support; resolve support tickets, and monitor alert queues and resolve identified issues
Develop and give training on system functionality
Be a change agent sharing the vision and encouraging others to embrace change
Qualifications / Requirements

years related work experience
Bachelor's degree (desired) in Business (preferred) or equivalent
Proven SDLC experience with a focus on software testing best practices, test plan creation and execution, and testing software/tools
Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
Strong interpersonal communication skills with experience in resolving challenging situations in managing people and projects.
Adaptable with a focus on Discipline of Execution to ensure quality of deliverables, adherence to standards and continuous improvement of people, process and tools.
Ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Ability to work off-hours and provide on-call support as needed
Experience working in a retail businesses (desired)
Experience working in franchised businesses (desired)
Possesses an understanding of payment processing and recurring payments (desired)
