Position
Summary:
Planet Fitness is looking to add a Project Manager to our team! This individual is accountable for defining, structuring, resourcing, executing, monitoring, and managing issues for critical, cross-department projects and initiatives. This individual will provide reporting and project transparency to the entire Planet Fitness team and coordinate closely with our vendors to drive success.

Responsibilities:
Accountable for the success of critical, cross-department projects within Planet Fitness.
Responsible to ensure projects adhere to sound Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles.
Responsible to coordinate with vendors to drive project success and provide critical thinking and troubleshooting on production issues.
Create and ensure compliance with all relevant PM standards, documents, policies and best practices.
Provide thought leadership and direction on assigned projects ensuring Discipline in Execution and continuous improvement of Project Management practices.
Delivery of committed projects within agreed budgets and timelines.
Ensuring transparency in all project communications.
Ensure effective stakeholders identification and engagement during all project phases.
Lead the project teams to a Sense of Urgency and mutual responsibility in achieving goals.
Manage risks, budgets and dependencies within projects and across departments.
Ensure escalation of scope change requests for review.
Act as the single point of contact for escalations to Senior Management in Planet Fitness.
Responsible for building solid working relationships within and outside (vendors, franchises) the organization.
Skills Required of Senior Project Manager:
5-7 years' experience leading complex, cross-department projects in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment (3
years of experience leading complex IT-centric projects including Vendor Packages, large network rollouts and cross organizational reporting components).
Exemplifies leadership characteristics in support of Planet Fitness corporate objectives.
Experience in managing area budgets and reputational and business risks for the organization, IT, and the corporate entity.
Possesses an understanding of enterprise technology infrastructure, application development & maintenance, software testing, and IT architecture.
Possesses an understanding of payment processing and recurring payments.
Comfortable indirectly leading and influencing resources, as well as directly owning tasks and troubleshooting issues.
Strong Interpersonal Communication skills with experience in resolving challenging situations in managing people and projects.
Demonstrates expertise in business requirements development, program and project management, issue resolution, risk mitigation, and communication.
Adaptable with a focus on Discipline of Execution to ensure Quality of deliverables, adherence to standards and continuous improvement of people, process and tools.
Ability to garner trust among project team and stakeholders.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
