Planet Fitness is looking for a Manager of Franchise Sales to join our team!
This position is responsible for selling the Planet Fitness Franchise opportunity to new prospects while assisting the Director of Franchise Sales to track and control the new development of Planet Fitness locations with existing franchisees.
E ssential Duties and Responsibilities of the Manager of Franchise Sales
Guide new prospects through the Planet Fitness Sales Process in order to ensure they understand the PF Franchise Business model.
Report each day on total franchise units sold and prospected.
Help to organize, plan and execute convention attendance.
Assist the Director of Sales and Director of Real Estate and Construction with the process to identify and prioritize sales targets.
Create territory and account management plans
Create sales funnel of opportunities that will yield expected results
Coordinate and participate in process for prospecting and discovery calls
Set appointments
Ensure document requests are completed by the applicant and disseminated within the organization
Send out and document the receipt of FDD Receipts and documentation
Qualifications/Requirements:
A minimum of 5-10 years of successful franchise sales experience.
Experience with or other similar Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRMs).
Experience in franchise operations, non-traditional (license) sales, development and training a plus.
Solid understanding of franchise agreements and practices a plus.
Proven ability to generate leads and qualify business partnerships.
Proven and documented track record of consistent quota achievement.
Major account experience; proven client engagement skills including relationship building, negotiating and closing.
An undergraduate degree in business, marketing, management or related discipline is preferred.
